Good Morning, Peeps! What is this crazy talk (hmm..is that judging?) about the world ending, and rapture being tomorrow? It's on the radio, and people are calling in, not believing it, but good grief-there are a LOT of people believing it's going to happen TOMORROW, May 21, 2011! They are having rapture parties. What?
Umm..can I just say..how are they going to feel on Sunday when they didn't get taken up in the Rapture? Are they going to feel unholy? or wrong? That'll be embarrassing. Now, I'm really not trying to poke fun, but seriously people. We read that:
But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Mark 13:32
(bold was my emphasis) Why do we think we can pin a date on it? How could we be so righteous? I've also been taught that we can't put our Lord God to the test. I would call that a test to mark a date on a calendar. And expect God to come through on the date a man picked. That just doesn't seem right. I worry about those people. (If these people include you, I'm so sorry, and I hope for your sake that you are right. What will you do for the rest of 2011? You'll have a super-hard time getting into your dentist without planning 6 months in advance, just sayin'.)
I have also learned not to talk beyond your knowledge, since "it is better to keep silent than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt." (Socrates) So, I'm going to be quiet now. I just had to put in my two cents, and I'll see you on the other side. Be it on Earth on Sunday or in Heaven with you (we'll sit together at the feet of Jesus, for joy!)!
Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'" Matthew 4:7

Thanks for the dinner invitation! Also regarding Mr.
Camping's views on the rapture, he also said 1984 and missed that date by a long shot.
What will he say to his family and congregation
on Sunday?
